These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Study Tracker ("Study Tracker," "we," "us," or "our"), an independent study aid for CompTIA certification exams. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Study Tracker. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.
The service
Study Tracker provides study plans, practice questions and games, mock exams, and progress tracking to help you prepare for certification exams. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
Not affiliated with CompTIA; no guarantee
Study Tracker is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CompTIA, Inc. "CompTIA" and the certification names are trademarks of CompTIA, Inc., used here only to describe the exams the material helps you study for. Practice questions and mock exams are original study material and are not actual exam questions.
We do not guarantee any particular result, score, or that you will pass any exam. Your results depend on many factors outside our control.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose;
- copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or its content except as allowed by these Terms;
- reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data;
- upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
Your content
You may create content such as custom flashcards. You keep ownership of what you create. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content to you as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for the content you create and must have the right to use it.
Our content
The service, its design, and its original study material are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your own exam preparation. Factual information (such as port numbers and protocol names) is not owned by anyone.
Free service
Study Tracker is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, they will be offered under additional terms presented to you at that time.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of study content. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the material is complete or up to date with the current exam objectives.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, or exam results, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed USD $50.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.
